Shield comes in three tiers, Basic, Standard, and Advanced. All offer an enhanced server experience, but more powerful features are restricted to higher tiers. The exact differences between the tiers are detailed below.

Cooldown Times

While all tiers can use slash commands, higher tiers have a shorter cooldown period. The exact difference is specific to each command; consult that command's documentation for more information.

Rate Limit Configurations

All tiers have access to some rate limits, but higher tiers have access to more. Currently, the limits are:

• 3 configurations for Shield Basic
• 8 configurations for Shield Standard
• 15 configurations for Shield Advanced

Channel Logging

Event logging is restricted to the Standard and Advanced tiers.

Command Limits

Certain commands have a maximum number of users returned and/or affected (like add_role_to_role). The upper limit for these commands varies based on the specific command, but it is higher for higher tiers. For exact values, consult the command in question.
